Fish Face

My name is Sarah Louise (but you can call me Sarah.) I'm a hot sauce lovin' vegetarian Strategist with a voracious appetite for figuring out WHY. That makes me the girl who wants to find the answers to all of your planning questions (and the occasional useless fact that may just come in useful.) With a background in sociology and creative Strategy, a love of art and bright colors you can bet I can always offer a multifarious perspective. You may find yourself wondering “What makes her so curious?” (Good question) In order to answer that I’ll have to tell you my story (got your popcorn?) here we go.

Once upon a time there was a fair princess with long golden locks from the shire of Buckingham. She lived happily ever after. The End.

Luckily for me my parents are dreamers and that’s not my story.  Born and raised in England I was blessed with and innate quirky/cheeky sense of humor (its required for citizenship) and a love of PG tips. My parents John and Julie taught my brother and I to always dig a little deeper, and do the best you can. I once asked them “why ask why?” and their answer was simple. If you understand why something is, you have the knowledge to fix it, change it, accept it, or apply it. Which makes you an independent problem solver, giving you the power to do whatever you want with your life.

Doctor, rocket scientist, and lawyer would all be viable career choices for anyone raised as a critical thinker, so what brought me here? My amazing brother has the mad scientist card under control, my passion lies in discovering the facets of society and the idiosyncrasies of the individuals it is comprised of. This can be directly traced back to 1995 and my own “Coming to America” story. In retrospect I was a 10 year-old anthropologist deciphering the language and customs of a new land, with my native guide Katherine making sure I didn’t violate the sacred customs of the playground. I maintained the role of observer throughout high school discovering that observing and engaging with others creates a window to understanding their motivations and who they are.

What was first a tool to fit into the American school system is now an intrinsic part of who I am. I relish a good conversation; it can reveal insights about an individual that I can later use to brighten their day. My favorite social activity is to decode the grumpy and discontent, so as to better understand their positioning. Advertising decodes and connects everyday, affording me the opportunity to do what I love, connecting not only with the people in my everyday life but millions, spreading smiles in places I have never been.
